UPPSC Exam 2024 Selection Process
U.P. Public Service Commission will organize a Preliminary Examination at different district centers to shortlist eligible candidates for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Main (Written) Examination 2024. The commission will conduct the Main (Written) Examinations independently. The selection process will consider the total marks acquired by candidates in the Main (Written) Examination and the Interview. Recruitment for specific positions will be determined by the total marks secured in the written examination, following the relevant service rules.
UPPSC Combined State/ PCS Exam Syllabus 2024
The competitive examination for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination, 2024 comprise three successive stages viz :-
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type & Multiple choice).
- Main Examination (Conventional Type, i.e. Written examination).
- Viva- Voce (Personality Test).
Preliminary Examination
In the Preliminary examination of the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination, there will be two compulsory papers, and candidates will provide answers on OMR sheets. The syllabus for the examination is provided in Appendix-5 of this advertisement. Each paper will carry 200 marks and have a duration of two hours. Both papers will be of objective type and multiple-choice, containing 150 and 100 questions, respectively.
