Eligibility Criteria

Criteria	Details
Nationality	Indian Nationals only. No candidate of foreign nationality is eligible.
Educational Qualification	Postgraduate Medical Degree i.e. (MD/MS/DNB/MCh/DM) or equivalent in the concerned specialty, recognized by MCI and registered either with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
Senior Residency Tenure	Candidates who have completed three years tenure of Senior Residency are NOT eligible for the post of Senior Resident.
Central Residency Scheme	Senior Residency done in any Central Institution/Hospital under the Central Residency Scheme shall be counted while working out the tenure of three years (including previous experience), so that the maximum period does not exceed three years.
Government Servants	Candidates already in Government service must route their applications through proper channel and attach NOC/letter requesting issuance of NOC from present employer. Selected candidates must submit their NOC within 3 days from the date of interview.
Previous Dismissal	Persons who have earlier worked in this institute and whose services were dispensed with on account of misconduct or otherwise are NOT eligible to apply.

Salary

• Pay Scale : Rs. 67,700/- (minimum pay 1st Cell of Level-11) + NPA @ 20% as per Central Government Services (R. Pay) Rules 2016.
