UP Police ASI & SI Eligibility Criteria 2023
Sub Inspector of Police (Confidential)
Graduation pass from a recognized University.
The ability to type in Hindi using Unicode on an Inscript keyboard at a speed of a minimum of 25 words per minute and a speed of at least 30 words per minute in English is mandatory.
Successful declaration for candidates will be based on achieving a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand dictation, and the evaluation will be conducted based on accuracy, as determined by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.
Successful completion of the “O” level examination in Computer from the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT Society) (formerly Doyak Society) of the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government, is a prerequisite.
Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Clerk)
Graduation pass from a recognized University.

Successful completion of the “O” level examination in Computer from the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT Society), formerly known as Doyak Society, under the Government of India, or any qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government is mandatory.
