Punjab Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Candidates should have obtained a qualification of 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/ University.
- Ex-Servicemen are required to have a minimum educational qualification of Matriculation.
Note: The candidates should have completed the mentioned educational qualifications on or before January 1st, 2024.
Mandatory Qualification :Â All candidates must, in addition to the qualifications listed above, have successfully passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as either a compulsory or elective subject. Alternatively, they should have cleared any equivalent examination in the Punjabi language as specified by the Punjab Government on or before January 1st, 2024.

Punjab Police Constable Salary & Pay Scale 2024
The pay scale for the post of Constable, as outlined in the Punjab Government Notification No. FD-FP-10MISC/ 87/ 2020 – 2FP1 dated 29.12.2020, is Rs.19,900/-. Additionally, candidates are entitled to a minimum admissible pay of Rs.19,900/- per month for the initial three years from their date of joining in service.
Punjab Police Constable Admit Card 2024
Each candidate will receive Admit Card(s) indicating the specific date, time, and venue for their Computer-Based Test Papers. The candidate must download the Admit Card(s) and bring a hard copy (printout) to the venue of the Papers, along with any one prescribed Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Indian Driving License, PAN card, Voter Identity card, Indian Passport) for entry.

Selection Process of Punjab Police Constable 2024
- The selection process will consist of three stages, which are as follows:
- Stage-I:Â The first stage will comprise two Computer-Based, Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type Papers, namely Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-II is designed to be qualifying in nature.
- Stage-II: In Stage-II, there will be a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and a Physical Screening Test (PST). Both the Physical Measurement Test and the Physical Screening Test are designed to be of a qualifying nature.
- Stage-III:Â The third stage, Stage-III, will involve Document Scrutiny.
