Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has issued notification for apprenticeship recruitment in various trades. Candidates who have passed 8th, 10th or ITI are eligible to apply for it. There are a total of 523 posts in it. Candidates who are interested to apply can fill the application form online by visiting the official website of MDL.
The application process under MDL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 has started and the application forms will be filled till 30 June 2025. To apply, candidates of General OBC EWS, SEBC and AFC category will have to pay Rs 100, while other candidates will not have to pay any application fee.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility of the candidates has been decided as per the post. For the posts of Group ‘A’, the candidates must be 10th pass. Whereas for Group ‘B’, it is mandatory to have passed ITI. Those applying for the posts of Group ‘C‘ must be at least 8th pass. This recruitment is being done in different groups keeping in mind technical and non-technical posts. Age Limit
Under Mazagon Dock Apprentice Recruitment 2025, the age limit has also been fixed differently for the posts of different groups.
Group ‘A’- Minimum- 15 Years & Maximum 19 Years.
Group ‘B’- Minimum- 16 Years & Maximum 21 Years..
Group ‘C’-Minimum- 14 Years & Maximum 18 Years.
Age will be calculated on the basis of 1st October 2025.

Salary
MDL Trade Apprentices receive a monthly stipend, not a fixed salary.
Group A (10th Class Passed)– it’s Rs. 3000 for the first 3 months, Rs. 6000 for the next 9 months, and Rs. 6600 in the second year.
Group B (ITI Passed)– Apprentices receive a stipend between Rs. 7700 and Rs. 8050/-.
Group C (8th Class Passed)– Apprentices get Rs. 2500 for the first 3 months, Rs. 5000 for the next 9 months, and Rs. 5500 in the second year..
Selection Process
The selection process for MDL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 consists of three main stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Document Verification and Trade Allotment, and Medical Test.
