Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, IGCAR Apprentice Recruitment 2026, Eligiblity, Age Limit, Application Fees, Selection process, Apply Online, IGCAR has issued an official notification for the recruitment of ITI trade apprentices at its Kalpakkam campus under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A total of 200 apprentice seats are available across 18 trades, including Fitter, Welder, Electrician, and PASAA. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold an ITI pass certificate in the relevant trade corresponding to the trade applied for, as listed in the vacancy table above.

• Applicants who have already undergone, or are currently undergoing, apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any Government, PSU, or Private Industrial organization (partially or fully) are not eligible to apply.
• Candidates awarded grading under the CGPA system must submit a University/Institute-issued certificate converting CGPA into an appropriate percentage.

Salary

• 2-year ITI training course : Rs 11,040/-
• 1-year ITI training course : Rs 10,560/-
