| Educational Qualification | (i) Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from a recognized University/Institution; OR (ii) Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University/Institution with about 2 years experience as Junior Pharmacist in Government/Government Undertaking/Board or as Dispenser in hospital/dispensary or as Pharmacist/Medical Representative in a pharmaceutical company |
| Computer Knowledge | Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967. Certificate/Marksheet from any training institute, or Diploma/Degree/Certificate course in computer from a recognized university, or Computer as a subject in 10th/12th standard. If not available at the time of application, the candidate must produce the certificate before appointment. |

| Pharmacy Council Registration | Candidate appointed by direct selection shall be required to register with the Gujarat State Pharmacy Council as per the Pharmacy Act, 1948 at the time of appointment, if not already registered. |

Salary
- Pay Scale : Fixed Pay of Rs. 40,800/- per month for first 5 years; thereafter 7th Pay Commission Pay Scale Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/- (Level-5) on regularization.
