EIL Associate Engineer Recruitment- How to Apply

Engineers India Limited (EIL) EIL Associate Engineer Recruitment, Eligibility, Age Limit, Selection, Last Date, Apply Online, EIL has issued an official notification to recruit experienced engineers on a fixed-term basis. There are 41 vacancies (approximately) available. Eligible and interested candidates can appear for a direct interview.

The application process for the EIL Associate Engineer Recruitment began on June 16, 2026, and applications will be accepted until June 30, 2026. The maximum age limit for candidates is 37 years for the Associate Engineer Grade-II post and 41 years for the Associate Engineer Grade-III post.

Position-Wise Vacancy Details

Associate Engineer Grade II Positions (5 Years Experience | Age Limit: 37 Years)

Candidates applying for Associate Engineer Grade II positions must have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience and must be 37 years of age or below as on 31 May 2026.

Position A – Associate Engineer Grade II (Process)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) – Chemical Engineering
• Vacancies: 5 (UR-1, OBC-3, EWS-1)
• Experience: Preferred experience as a Process Engineer in Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Fertilizer, Chemical, Offshore Plants, Pipelines, or LNG Projects/Facilities

Position B – Associate Engineer Grade II (SMED-II – Mechanical Rotating/Package)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) – Mechanical Engineering
• Vacancies: 5 (UR-2, SC-1, ST-1, OBC-1)
• Experience: Design & Engineering as a Mechanical Engineer (Rotating/Package) for Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing (Onshore/Offshore), Fertilizer, or Chemical Plants; experience in Engineering for Procurement of complex equipment packages; familiarity with API/ISO/International codes preferred

Position C – Associate Engineer Grade II (SMED-I – Static Equipment)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) – Mechanical Engineering
• Vacancies: 4 (UR-2, SC-1, EWS-1)
• Experience: Design & Engineering as a Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment) for Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Fertilizer, Chemical, or LNG Facilities; experience in design of reactors, tall columns, large storage tanks, heat exchangers; familiarity with PVElite, Bently AutoPipe, API, ASME, TEMA codes preferred

Position D – Associate Engineer Grade II (Environment, Water & Safety)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) – Chemical / Civil / Environment / Industrial Pollution Abatement
• Vacancies: 1 (OBC-1)
• Experience: Design & Engineering of Water Treatment Plants, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Wastewater Recycle Plants, Zero Liquid Discharge Plants, or Waste to Energy Plants

Associate Engineer Grade III Positions (9 Years Experience | Age Limit: 41 Years)

Associate Engineer Grade III is a senior-level role requiring a minimum of 9 years of post-qualification relevant experience. The upper age limit is 41 years as on 31 May 2026.

Position E – Associate Engineer Grade III (Process)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) – Chemical Engineering
• Vacancies: 13 (UR-6, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-3, EWS-1)
• Experience: Preferred experience as a Process/Safety Engineer for Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Fertilizer, Chemical, Offshore Plants, Pipelines, or LNG Projects/Facilities

Position F – Associate Engineer Grade III (Electrical)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) – Electrical Engineering
• Vacancies: 1 (SC-1)
• Experience: Design & Engineering as an Electrical Engineer for Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Fertilizer, Chemical Plants, Offshore Plants, Pipelines, or LNG Projects; proficiency in Smart Plant Electrical and ETAP preferred

Position G – Associate Engineer Grade III (Instrumentation)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) – Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation & Control
• Vacancies: 4 (UR-1, SC-1, OBC-1, EWS-1)
• Experience: Design & Engineering as an Instrumentation & Control System Engineer for Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Fertilizer, Chemical Plants, Offshore Plants, Pipelines, or LNG Projects; experience in Smart platforms preferred

Position H – Associate Engineer Grade III (Piping)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) – Mechanical Engineering
• Vacancies: 5 (UR-1, SC-1, ST-1, OBC-1, EWS-1)
• Experience: Design & Engineering as a Piping Engineer for Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Fertilizer, Chemical Plants, or LNG Facilities; experience in stress analysis using CAESAR preferred

Position I – Associate Engineer Grade III (SMMS – Materials/Corrosion)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) / Integrated Dual Degree – Metallurgy / Materials / Corrosion
• Vacancies: 1 (UR-1)
• Experience: Material Selection, Material Failure, or Corrosion Risk Assessment Studies for Oil & Gas Production, Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Fertilizer, or Chemical Industries

Position J – Associate Engineer Grade III (Structural/General Civil)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) – Civil Engineering
• Vacancies: 2 (OBC-2)
• Experience: Civil Engineer for Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Fertilizer, Chemical, or LNG Projects; experience in Analysis & Design of RCC, Structural Steel & Composite Structures, Buildings (pre-fabricated, pre-cast, pre-engineered), and Foundations (including for dynamic machines)

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

All candidates must hold a B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engineering) degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institution, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. The exact CGPA equivalents are as follows:

• Associate Engineer Grade III: Minimum 9 years of post-qualification relevant experience
• The cut-off date for experience calculation is 31 May 2026

Salary

• Monthly Salary : Rs 72,000/- to Rs 96,000/- (incl. HRA & PF)
