• Eligibility shall be as per the National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations.
• The candidate must hold a postgraduate degree MD/MS in the concerned speciality, or a DNB in Broad Specialties granted by a medical institution with an attached hospital, or by a hospital with a strength of 500 or more beds, granted by the National Board of Examination – such DNB holders are eligible only as per the Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022.
• The candidate must be registered with the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council.
• Local candidates to Andhra Pradesh state are eligible for selection. Non-local candidates holding AP Medical Registration are eligible for Senior Residency only if local candidates are not available for a given post.
