CTET Exam 2025, Notification Application Form, Eligibility

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) CTET Exam 2025, Eligiblity, Age Limit, Application Fees, Selection, Apply Online, CBSE will soon release the official bulletin for the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). The official notification for the CTET 2025 exam is expected to be released in September 2025. Candidates who are waiting to apply for this examination should keep visiting the official website (https://ctet.nic.in/) regularly.

The application process for CTET Exam 2025 has started on 27 November 2025, and candidates can apply till 17 December 2025. Candidates will have to pay the prescribed application fee. Before applying, candidates are advised to read the official notification.

Eligibility Criteria

Level	Qualification
Level-1 (Class 1 to 5)	Code 01 – Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Code 02 – Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms OR Code 03 – Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Code 04 – Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Level-2 (Class 6 to 8)	Code 01 – Bachelor Degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Code 02 – Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Code 03 – Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Norms OR Code 04 – Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Code 05 – Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR Code 06 – Bachelor Degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education) Code 07 – Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET.

• CTET Level 1 (Class 1 to 5) : Pay Scale Rs 9,300/- to Rs 34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-
• CTET Level 2 (Class 6 to 8) : Pay Scale Rs 9,300/- to Rs 34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs 4600/-
