BSSC Inter Level Notification 2023 PDF
Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced the commencement of the Second Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination through Advt.No. 02/23. Aspiring candidates can access the detailed advertisement on the official website https://bssc.bihar.gov.in. Online applications will be accepted from 27.09.2023 to 11.12.2023. Bihar SSC Inter Level Exam Selection Process 2023
Following the Bihar Staff Selection Commission Examination Conduct Rules-2010, a preliminary examination will be organized if the number of applications exceeds 40,000. In the event of a substantial number of applications, the preliminary examination may be conducted in multiple phases. The examination will be held in various stages, and the result, if the examination is conducted, will be determined using the process of equalization.
BSSC Inter Level Syllabus 2023
The nature of the preliminary examination will be objective. Candidates, five times the number of vacancies categorized, will proceed to the main examination after qualifying in the preliminary stage. Subsequently, a separate announcement will be made regarding the main examination.
Preliminary Examination: In the preliminary examination, there will be one paper on General Knowledge, which will have the following topics:-
- General Studies
- General Science and Mathematics.
- Mental Ability Test (Comprehension/ Logic/ Reasoning/ Mental Ability)
The preliminary examination will feature objective, multiple-choice questions, amounting to a total of 150. Candidates will receive 4 marks for each correct answer, with a deduction of 1 mark for every wrong answer. The examination will have a duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes. Hindi/English will be the medium of language for the preliminary examination. In cases where variations exist between the Hindi and English question papers, only the English questions will be deemed valid.

As per the directives outlined in Resolution No. 2374, dated 18.07.2007, from the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (General Administration Department), candidates must attain the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination, detailed as follows:

How To Apply Online For BSSC Inter Level Exam 2023
- Online application can be filled on the Commission’s website https://bssc.bihar.gov.in from 27.09.2023 to 11.11.2023 at 11:59 pm.
- Candidates will scan and upload the Hindi and English signatures while submitting the online application.
- The Commission will not assume liability for interruptions in internet or banking services. Therefore, candidates are urged not to delay until the final dates and should finalize all procedures ahead of time. Furthermore, the Commission will not take responsibility for erroneous or unsuccessful payments, and candidates will not receive additional time for rectification.
- Prior to submitting the application form, candidates are recommended to review the preview. If any corrections are deemed necessary, applicants should utilize the edit option to make the required changes before finalizing and submitting the application.
- A candidate is restricted to filling out a single online application form. If a candidate attempts to submit multiple forms with either the same or modified addresses, all application forms will be rejected, resulting in the cancellation of the candidate’s eligibility.
- To ensure effective communication in the future, it is mandatory to enter a valid and active mobile number and email ID. Failing to provide accurate or valid contact information may lead to the candidate not receiving essential updates, and the Commission will not assume responsibility for any resulting inconvenience.
- Candidates must ensure the safekeeping of their Application Form Number, Registration Number, or Roll Number. A copy of the fully filled application form, inclusive of the photograph, should be retained. The Commission will not issue duplicate or secondary registration numbers, application form numbers, or admit cards under any circumstances in the later stages of the process.
