Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is extending an invitation for online applications for the recruitment of School Teacher, Special School Teacher, and Headmaster positions. The recruitment drive aims to fill over 87,000 vacancies across various classes (Class 1 to 5, Class 6 to 8, Class 9 to 10, and Class 11 to 12) under the Education and BC & EBC Welfare Department, Government of Bihar. Eligible and interested Indian citizens can apply through the official BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in, from 10th February 2024, with the application window closing on 23rd February 2024.

BPSC Teacher Selection Process 2024

The Commission will compile a provisional merit list of successful candidates based on the total marks secured in the written examination (Part-II and III). In instances of equal total marks in the written examination (objective), priority will be given based on the scores in the selected subject (Part-III). If there is a tie in the selected subject, the merit order will be established using the marks in the Language (Qualification) subject (Part-I). In cases of equality in the Language (Qualification) subject and age, candidates will be prioritized alphabetically based on their names in Devanagari script.

BPSC Teacher Documents List 2024

  • The candidate must possess a valid and operational email address and mobile number. The provided email address and mobile number will be securely maintained until the final result is published.
  • Upon careful consideration of the information presented in the official advertisement on the Commission’s website, it has been ascertained that the candidate holds all the essential certificates and documents in their original format as specified.
  • All the requisite certificates/documents, required for the Application Form as per the advertisement, have been scanned by the candidate and are available in PDF format, each file being within the specified size limit of 100 KB.
  • A high-quality webcam must be present in the system (Desktop/Laptop, etc.) used for filling out the application. Additionally, it is essential to guarantee that the background is white or light-colored, and ample light is available when capturing the photo.
  • The candidate has prepared clear and readable scanned images of their Hindi and English signatures, formatted in jpg/jpeg. Each image file meets the specified requirements with a maximum size of 15KB and dimensions of 220*100 pixels.

How To Apply Online BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2024

Registration:

Prospective applicants should initiate the online application process by visiting the Bihar Public Service Commission’s dedicated website at https://onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in. Subsequently, they are required to select the “Online Registration” tab and proceed to apply for the desired post. On the Registration page, candidates must input their relevant information and click the “Submit” button. Upon completion, the screen will display the assigned User Name and Password, and this information will also be sent to the Registered Mobile Number or E-mail ID provided during the registration process.

Application:

Following the successful registration process, candidates are required to log in to the home page of https://onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in using the User Name and Password received on their Registered Mobile Number or E-mail ID. Upon logging in, candidates can proceed to fill out the online application by clicking on the “Application Form” button.

  1. Certain (some) boxes in the application form will be pre-filled, which have been filled by the candidate at the time of registration.
  2. According to the related advertisement, the scanned copy (pdf format, maximum 100 KB in size) of all the desired certificates / documents will be uploaded at the prescribed place in the Application Form.
  3. Before uploading a clear photograph of the candidate through Webcam at the prescribed place in the Application Form, the candidate should ensure that he/she is not wearing cap/ muffler/ coloured glasses etc.
  4. Will upload his legible signature in Hindi and English at the designated place.
  5. After this the candidates will submit the Application Form.

Edit:

After completing the details in the Registration and Application Form, candidates will have the opportunity to edit their entries. It is crucial to remember that this edit option will remain open until the payment is initiated, providing candidates with the flexibility to modify any information.

Note:- The candidate has the authority to make changes to the details provided in the Registration and Application Form, but this privilege is only available until the prescribed final date for online payment, ensuring that edits can be made prior to the completion of the online payment process.

Payment:

Before proceeding with the online payment of the examination fee, candidates should double-check that all the details entered in the application are correct. It is essential to understand that, following the payment, candidates will not have the option to edit any entry made in the online application.

Payment of the examination fee will be initiated by using the ‘Online Payment’ tab accessible on the Dashboard.

Download Filled Application Form:

After the successful online payment of the examination fee, candidates are instructed to log in again simultaneously. Subsequently, they should click on the “Download Filled Application Form” tab available on the Dashboard to acquire the filled application in PDF format. It is critical to confirm that the Registration Number, Bar Code, and Submitted Application Number are specified on each page of both the downloaded application in PDF and the hard copy. The application will be deemed complete only when all three identifiers are present. An application lacking any of the Registration Number, Bar Code, or Submitted Application Number will not be considered filled in, and such applications will not be accepted.
