Eligibility Criteria
- For Secondary Teacher (Class 8–10, Paper-I), candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree.
- For Senior Secondary Teacher (Class 11–12, Paper-II), you need a Postgraduate degree in the subject with Second Division along with a B.Ed. degree (not required for Computer Science). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/EBC/BC/Divyang categories get 5% relaxation in marks.

Salary
- For secondary teachers, State Bihar 2025 salary starts at Rs 44,900, which with a grade salary of Rs 4,200, total Rs 50,000/- to 55,000/- per month. For senior secondary teachers, it starts at Rs 47,600, with a salary of Rs 4,800, with a total of Rs 52,000/- to Rs 58,000/- monthly. Salary includes DA, HRA and other government allowances.
