Candidates who have passed Class 12 can submit their online applications via the official website before the deadline.

The application process for the SSC JSA LDC DoPT LDCE Recruitment 2026 began on June 25, 2026, and applications can be submitted until July 16, 2026. The deadline for submitting the hard copy is July 23, 2026. Candidates will be selected based on a computer-based examination.

Eligibility Criteria

Service Eligibility Conditions

• Must be a permanent or regularly appointed temporary Group ‘C’ employee with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.
• Must have rendered not less than 3 years of regular service as a Group ‘C’ employee with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 as on the crucial date of 1 August 2025.
• A Group ‘C’ employee on deputation to an ex-cadre post with approval of competent authority is also eligible, if otherwise eligible.
• A Group ‘C’ employee appointed to an ex-cadre post or another service on transfer who continues to have a lien in the Group ‘C’ post is also eligible, if otherwise eligible.
• The parent Service/Cadre of the candidate must be a participating Service/Cadre of this examination.

Qualification

• Must have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Typewriting Test Requirement

Candidates shall have to pass (if not already passed) one of the periodical typewriting tests in English or Hindi held by SSC:

Note: Candidates who do not pass the typewriting test within the probation period are liable to be reverted. Candidates declared permanently unfit for typewriting by a Civil Surgeon due to physical disability may be exempted in consultation with DoPT.

• Medium: Candidates must attempt in the language (English/Hindi) opted in the application form, except the “General English” section which must be attempted in English
• No Braille Question Paper: There is no Question Paper in Braille for Visually Handicapped candidates
• Exam Centre: Delhi-NCR only
• Compensatory Time: 20 minutes per hour for candidates eligible for scribe/assistive devices
