ESIC Senior Resident Recruitment- Walk-in Interview

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) ESIC Senior Resident Recruitment, Eligibility, Age Limit, Selection, Last Date, Walk-in Interview, ESIC has released an official notification for the recruitment of Senior Residents (3-year contract positions) under the 7th CPC. There are a total of 128 vacancies. These positions are located at ESI-PGIMSR, ESIC Medical College and Hospital & ODC (EZ), Joka, Kolkata-700104.

The walk-in interview for the ESIC Senior Resident Recruitment will be held on May 23, 2026, for non-clinical positions, and for clinical positions (super specialty) on May 29, 2026, and May 28, 2026, respectively. Interested candidates can appear for the interview directly.

Eligibility Criteria

Post	Educational Qualification
Senior Resident under Residency Scheme (Clinical / Non-Clinical departments)	Medical PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in concerned specialty from MCI/NMC recognized Medical Institution/Hospital. OR Postgraduate medical degree in Master of Science with Doctor of Philosophy in the subjects of Medical Anatomy, Medical Biochemistry, or Medical Physiology. Candidates must be registered under MCI/NMC/State Medical Council. Candidates on bond are not eligible. Candidates who have completed compulsory post-PG Bond Service must provide Bond Clearance Certificate from Appointing Authority.
Senior Resident under Residency Scheme – Dental Department	Post-Graduate Degree (MDS) in a dental specialty. Registered with Dental Council of India (DCI) / State Dental Council.
Senior Resident under Residency Scheme – Super Specialties	DM/MCh/DNB in the concerned subject. OR MD/MS/DNB qualified graduates in the concerned broad specialty. Note: Offer of engagement for Super Specialty Senior Residents will be subject to successful engagement of teaching faculty in the same Super Specialties.

Salary

• Pay Scale : Rs. 1,48,669/- (Consolidated Remuneration) + Transport Allowance + DA on Transport Allowance.

Terms & Conditions

Contract Period	Initially 1 year, extendable on yearly basis up to a total of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance
Notice Period	1 month notice required by either side for termination or resignation; in lieu of notice, one month’s remuneration to be paid
Private Practice	Private practice of any kind is NOT allowed
TA/DA	No TA/DA admissible for joining or any other purpose
Contract Execution	Selected candidates must execute a contract on stamp paper of Rs. 100/-; stamp paper cost to be borne by the candidate
Security Deposit	Rs. 32,000/- (Rupees Thirty-Two Thousand only) by Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No.1 at time of joining – refundable only after completion of engagement period on production of “No Dues Certificate”. If the agreement is terminated by the Senior Resident in between the engagement period, the security deposit will NOT be refunded.
Residential Accommodation	Subject to availability; if accommodation is provided by ESIC, HRA will not be paid
Duty	Round-the-clock floor duties in shifts as assigned; emergency duties as required
Screening Test	If candidates turnout is more than 1:10 ratio per post, a screening test (MCQ in concerned discipline) may be conducted; screening test marks will not be linked to final selection – performance in interview is the sole selection criteria
Panel Validity	Panel may remain valid for 3 months from date of publication of result; may be cancelled earlier without assigning any reason
