Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on a national level examination. It will consist of three stages. The first stage will be a computer based test (CBT), which will be conducted in July/August. The second stage will be an interview and the third will be a local language proficiency test.
Exam Pattern
The duration of SBI CBO exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. It consists of two papers. Test A is objective (2 hours) and Test-B is descriptive (30 minutes). Test-A consists of 120 questions related to English Language, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness, Economy and Computer Aptitude. Each question carries one mark. Test B Descriptive Test consists of letter writing and essay writing of 250 words related to banking. It carries a total of 50 marks.
