Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced recruitment for 314 posts of Assistant Professor (Broad Specialty) under the Health and Family Welfare Department. Out of these, 74 posts have been reserved for women. All appointments by the commission will be made for 24 different broad specialty subjects in medical colleges. Such as- Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics etc.

Salary
The selected candidates will be paid a salary of 79,800/- per month and will also be given the benefit of other allowances.
Selection Process
The selection will be done as per Odisha Medical Education Service Rules 2021. Selection will be done on the basis of performance in the written examination. Subject related questions will be asked and final selection will be done on the basis of merit.

- Type- MCQ-Based (OMR Sheet evaluation)
- Total Question- 200 (1 mark each)
- Marks- 200 Marks
- Duration- 3 Hours
- Syllabus- MCI/NMC- approved MD/MS syllabus for Board Speciality
