Indian Air Force (IAF), has released the official notification for the recruitment of Medical Assistant Airmen in Group Y. Candidates who are interested in applying can apply online by visiting the official website (https://indianairforce.nic.in/) of the Indian Air Force. The application process has started from 11th July 2025 and the application forms will be filled till 31st July 2025.
Before applying, candidates are advised to read the official notification of the recruitment. To apply, candidates have to pay Rs. 550/-. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test, physical test, adaptability test and medical test.

Eligibility Criteria
For Medical Assistant Trade (10+2 candidates)
- 10+2 passed or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board with at least 50% overall marks and 50% marks in English,
“OR“ - Passed a 2-year vocational course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (as non-vocational subjects) with the same 50% marks requirement in total and in English.
For Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy candidates)
- 10+2 passed or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, scoring at least 50% marks overall and 50% in English.
- In addition, they must hold a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks and must have valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment.
