What is Aayushman Card?
Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), is a scheme whose main objective is to help candidates from economically weaker sections (EWS) of the society who need health care facilities.
‘PMJAY scheme was launched by the Prime Minister on 23 September 2018′. This scheme has been launched to benefit more than 12 crore poor and vulnerable families. Under this scheme, free medical treatment up to Rs 5,00,000 is provided to the families of economically weaker sections.
Eligibility Criteria
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) families.
- Scheduled Caste and Tribe families.
- Families with disabled members.
- Senior citizens above 70 years of age.
- Families with no adult male member between 16 and 59 years of age.

How to Apply online for Ayushman Card
Step-1: First of all go to the official government website beneficiary.nha.gov.in.
Step-2: Find the “Registration” or “Apply for PMJAY” section on the homepage..
Step-3: Enter your mobile number, Aadhar card details, and other required personal information.
Step-4: Verify your mobile number by entering the OTP received.
Step-5: Fill out the registration form with accurate details, including family member information.
Step-6: Upload scanned copies of required documents like proof of identity and residence.
Step-7: Carefully review all the information before submitting the application.
Step-8: The process of applying for Ayushman card will be completed.
Step-9: Now you can download the Ayushman card by logging in to the Ayushman portal.

- Visit the official website https://pmjay.gov.in/.
- Log in using ‘login credentials’ or ‘mobile number‘.
- Search for “Ayushman Bharat” service.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and other details and submit.
- Now view and download the Ayushman card in your profile on the screen.
