What is ABHA Card?

Abha Card is also known as Ayushman Bharat Health Account. It is a 14 digit digital health ID. Abha Card is an important part of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission launched by the Government of India.

Its main objective is to allow people to store their health related details in digital form and share it with the health service providers. So that health services can be easily accessed across the country.

Eligibility Criteria for an ABHA Card

The applicant must fulfill the following criteria for ABHA card eligibility –

  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • Age should be between 16 to 59 years.
  • Aadhaar number is required for Abha registration.
  • All castes including General, SC, ST and OBC are eligible to apply for this scheme.
  • The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.

How to Apply for ABHA Card?

Abha (Ayushman Bharat Health Card), you can apply online by visiting the official website. For this, you will need Aadhaar number or driving license.

  • Visit the official website.
  • Choose the ‘Create your Aabha number using Aadhaar number’ option.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number, listen to the announcement box, and click Next.

Step to Apply Offline

  • Visit the nearest health facilities center: You can check the list of these health facilities on the official website.

  • You can fill in all the details and submit them at the centre.
  • After this your Aabha registration will be completed.

How to Online Download ABHA Card?

  • First of all go to the official website https://abha.abdm.gov.in/abha/v3/login.
  • Enter your 14 digit Abha number or registered mobile number and captcha code.
  • Enter the OTP received on your mobile number.
  • Click on the option of ‘View Health Card’ or ‘Download Abha Card’.
  • Now your Abha card will be downloaded in PDF form.
