Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released a notification for recruitment to the posts of Village Development Officer (VDO) under Panchayati Raj Department. It includes a total of 850 posts. Interested candidates can fill the application form online by visiting the official website of RSSB. Board has advised to read the official notification before applying.
The application process for RSSB VDO Recruitment 2025 has started from 19th July 2025 and the application forms will be filled till 18th July 2025. Its written examination will be conducted through offline mode on 31st August 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduation from a University recognized by the Government of India.
- ‘O Level’ Computer Course or Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application.
- Computer Knowledge related qualification from any other recognized institute.

Salary
The selected candidates will get attractive salary under 7th Pay Commission as per Pay Matrix Level-6, which will be as per the standards of Government service.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. The exam will be offline (OMR-based) on August 31, 2025.
Exam Pattern
There will be 160 questions in the preliminary exam for which a total of 200 marks have been set. The exam has to be completed in three hours. The question paper will include sections related to General Hindi & English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Geography and Natural Resources, Agriculture and Economic Resources with reference to Rajasthan and History and Culture of Rajasthan.
