Junior Assistant & Junior Technician

Junior Assistant (Hospitality)	Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with 55% marks from a recognized institution/university, OR Three (03) years Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology with 55% marks and two (02) years’ experience. Desirable: Experience in a residential educational institution.
Junior Technician (Civil Maintenance)	Diploma (minimum 55% marks) in Civil Engineering of 3 years duration from a recognized Polytechnic/Institute, with 5 years of relevant experience in any large residential campus, and knowledge of computer office applications. Desirable: Experience in maintaining Civil Infrastructure of a large residential campus of an educational institute or industry of repute.
Junior Technician (Electrical Maintenance)	Diploma (minimum 55% marks) in Electrical Engineering of 3 years duration from a recognized Polytechnic/Institute, with 5 years of relevant experience in any large residential campus, and knowledge of computer office applications. Desirable: Experience in maintaining Electrical Infrastructure of a large residential campus of an educational institute or industry of repute.

Selection Process

• Junior Assistant / Junior Technician / Junior Technical Superintendent: Preliminary shortlisting based on essential qualifications and experience, followed by Written Test and Trade Test/Computer Proficiency Test as per Recruitment Rules of IIT (ISM), Dhanbad. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in recruitment tests.
• Assistant Systems Engineer: Preliminary shortlisting based on essential qualifications and experience, followed by Presentation and Interview before the Selection Committee. Written Test and Computer/other Test may also be conducted as per Recruitment Rules, if required. To-and-fro rail fare (AC-3 tier, shortest route) is reimbursable only for candidates shortlisted for Presentation and Interview.
