Eligibility Criteria

Anganwadi Teacher (AWT)

Candidates applying for the AWT post should meet the following educational qualification requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass (SSC) or equivalent
• Preferred: Intermediate (10+2) or above
• Other: Preference may be given to candidates with Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) training

Anganwadi Helper (AWH)

• Minimum Qualification: Ability to read and write (basic literacy)
• Must be a resident of the same village/ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located

Common Eligibility Conditions

• Gender: Only women candidates are eligible
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years (SC/ST/BC/EWS relaxation as per Telangana Government norms)
• Residency: Must be a local resident of the respective Gram Panchayat / Ward
• Marital Status: Both married and unmarried women are eligible

Salary

• Anganwadi Teacher (AWT) : Rs 10,000/- to Rs 12,000/-

Selection Process

• Scrutiny of Applications – The ICDS Project team verifies documents and residency proof
• Merit List Preparation – Based on educational qualifications, with priority given to higher qualifications
