Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) TGPSC Recruitment 2026, Eligibility, Age Limit, Selection, Last Date, Apply Online, TGPSC has released an official notification for the recruitment of teaching staff at the District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) under the School Education Department. A total of 86 vacancies are available. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official TGPSC website.

The application process for TGPSC Recruitment 2026 will begin on June 24, 2026, and applications will be accepted until July 29, 2026. Candidates must be between 18 and 44 years of age to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

General Qualification Pattern

Across almost all 19 post codes, the qualifying pattern follows a similar two-part structure:

1. A Postgraduate (PG) degree in the subject specified for that post code, with not less than 55% marks from a UGC-recognised university (50% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates).
2. An M.Ed. degree with not less than 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates) from an NCTE-recognised institution – with a specified teaching methodology in B.Ed. for language and science-related posts.

Salary

• Senior Lecturer, DIET (Post Code 1): Rs. 58,850 – Rs. 1,37,050 per month
• Lecturer, DIET (Post Codes 2 to 19): Rs. 54,220 – Rs. 1,33,630 per month

Selection Process

• Written Examination (Objective Type) – Candidates have to appear for a computer-based or OMR-based written exam.
• Document Verification – Candidates who clear the written exam and come under the merit list will be called to verify their original educational and category certificates.
• Medical Examination – A final medical fitness test will be done before issuing the joining letter.
