Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the official notification for Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025 for PhD admission and posts of Assistant Professor in colleges and universities of Jharkhand. All eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of JPSC.
The application process for Jharkhand JET 2025 will start from 16 September 2025 and the application forms will be filled till 6 October 2025. After the completion of the application process, amendments will be made in the application form from 8 October to 10 October 2025. To apply, the candidate has to pay the prescribed fee.

Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree: Candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a UGC-recognized university.
- General/EWS: Minimum 55% marks (without rounding off).
- Reserved (SC/ST/BC-I/BC-II/PwBD, Jharkhand residents): At least 50% marks.
- Final Year Students: Eligible to apply provisionally, must meet criteria within 2 years of JET result.
- Ph.D. Holders: 5% relaxation in marks if Master’s completed on or before 19th September 1991.
- No Upper Age Limit: There is no maximum age cap for applying to JET 2025
